Xu Si composed the second 147 break of his career, crafting the perfect run in his clash with Ryan Day at the International Championship in Nanjing.
The break came in the sixth frame of their last 32 encounter, which Xu won 6-2. That places him in line to claim the £5,000 high break prize on offer for the event.
It’s the second 147 break in the space of a year for Xu, following his perfect run at 2023 UK Championship qualifying. There have now been five 147 breaks this season and 207 in the history of professional snooker.
