In 2010 he ran the corruption enquiry into the 2010 spot-fixing saga involving members of the Pakistan cricket team, in which three international cricketers were convicted and banned from the sport for several years, as well as receiving prison sentences in the UK.

He will speak alongside John Pierce, Director of Enforcement and Intelligence at the Gambling Commission and Karen Moorhouse, CEO at the International Tennis Integrity Agency, with topics to be discussed including the United Kingdom’s approach to tackling match-fixing, international cooperation and the mechanisms used to track integrity threats in sports betting.

Further information, including how to watch the meeting from 2pm can be found at the UK Parliament website.
